Involve your company
Matching grants are a great way for individuals to maximise their donations to TIPA.
You may want to ‘run for a cause’ or organise activities such as ‘tombolas’ and ‘bingos’. Your company may be asked to match the amount raised: for each Rupee collected, the employer donates 1 or more Rupee(s).
At TIPA, we share the conviction that a child who grows up in the best possible conditions, surrounded by caring adults, will be a fulfilled and responsible citizen. Art for the Future is intended to be a project over a minimum of 3 years and not to focus on financing an artistic workshop for a child, because our NGO believes that all children should be treated the same way.
Our estimated budget for 2022 is Rs 6,687,441 and we work with 535 direct actors (to have more impact on the child, we work closely with his/her parents and his/her teacher). Therefore, each actor costs us Rs 1041 per month. This money, which will be spread over 3 years, will allow TIPA to continue to provide art workshops to the kids, fostering on the development of life skills such as participation and self-confidence. Moreover, as part of our 2021-2024 programme, we will also provide the parents with training in parenting skills through arts.
Believing in the importance of art and culture in education and contributing to the Art for Future means participating in the concrete and lasting improvement of the living conditions of a child and his community. Since 2008, we have been carrying out sustainable development projects for and with local communities. We know that it is through relationships of trust that we can achieve the greatest change for children.
